Not A Devil But Never An Angel

Presently this is just a sketch, but I'm planning on probably inking and coloring it in the future? I wanted to post the original sketch regardless, because I do like how it turned out, for such a lazy doodle. I was considering for a while altering the sketch quite a bit in order to make a colored version of it as the cover piece for "Anarky Rising" (there would have been a lot more added in; can we say, reflections in wings of glass for odd symbolism, anyone?) but I decided against it in the end. Especially since that left hand of Guen's has been a serious pain to mess with over and over, and I would have had to mess with it again in order to make it my cover art. I'm not sure what the heck she's pointing at by the way, but apparently her hand needed to be drawn that way.

The title of this piece, as well as the sketch itself, was greatly inspired by these two songs listened, one after the other.

I have fallen quite in love with both of these songs. And in a way, I do feel they reflect a major change that takes place in Guen/Wraith's life that occurs by the end of "Anarky Rising." Note that the first sounds like a break-up song for a man most beloved, whereas the second song sounds like a warning to someone new...? *waggles eyebrows wickedly*

I have to say this is probably one of my favorite sketches of Guen in her newer outfit, probably just because of how her face turned out. There are plenty of anatomy errors that will probably cause me to hate this piece in the future, but I do love how her expression and face shape in general just turned out. Also, back to the gray paper for this piece because reasons.
