This is actually an image I've had in my head for a long time, ever since talking with HBCfanAlex extensively about her OC Mallory. It's largely inspired a lot by her past history with her parents, and how they have controlled her so much in their efforts to pass on their family curse, and it breaks my heart for Mal. ; ; I hope to one day ink and color this for you, hon, but I was hoping to get this posted in time for your birthday, so you get the very light sketch here.

This is totally awesome! I love the emotion! She just looks so betrayed and lost, like she doesn't know where to go or who to turn to. You've done the scene justice, Yoru! And this gift is so thoughtful!
The caption fits so well. And the fact that her parents didn't make her feel inferior at all during her childhood really strikes the point home, really makes the wound sting all the more.
